Dear Friends, Churches, and Faithful Partners,

We are SO long overdue for this update, and for that we sincerely apologize. We returned to the Republic of Korea on November 11, and as of today—January 29, 2026

—much has happened.

We left the U.S. on a very high note, one that carried us through six full months of itineration in Illinois, with a few meaningful stops in Minnesota as well. Those months were rich and encouraging. We were also able to reconnect with most of our siblings, spend time with all of our children and grandchildren, and share what God is doing through ICA Pyeongtaek and our ministry to U.S. military families. It truly was a season of joy, strengthening, and affirmation.

Thank you to Mason City and to Angela Brown for the wonderful Christmas stockings we were able to use to bless our troops. These gifts meant more than words can express—offering just a small taste of home during Christmas to young men and women serving far from their families. This was a truly valuable outreach, and we are deeply grateful for your generosity and heart for those who serve.

Returning to Korea: A Challenging Start

Shortly after our return to Korea, our Camp Humphreys base pass expired. And, as of this writing, we are still awaiting approval for renewed access. Due to holidays, extended days off, and administrative delays, the process has taken much longer than anticipated.

Many have graciously come alongside us to sponsor temporary base access; however, this is a limited solution. Each sponsorship requires coordination, is valid only for the duration of that specific visit, and requires us to exit the base when that visit ends. While we are grateful for every sponsor, this has been a season requiring patience and perseverance.

Pressing In, Not Pulling Back

We want to be honest with you: the enemy often attacks in our weakest moments, and this season has been no exception. There have been pressures not only within the ministry, but also against the unity of our covenant relationship as husband and wife.

Rather than retreat, we have chosen to press harder into the things of God—His Word, prayer, and complete reliance on His Holy Spirit, Him alone. This has been a refining season, one we would have preferred to avoid, yet one God is clearly using to mold us, sharpen our vision, deepen our love, and bring renewed victory in Jesus.

We are not discouraged. We are not beaten down.

We have come under greater submission to our Lord and Savior, and we continue to witness His miraculous provision and faithful oversight of this ministry.

God’s Provision: Clear and Undeniable

Despite returning to Korea with a shortfall in monthly commitments, we were required by the ROK to return within six months due to national insurance requirements. And yet—God has provided.

  • Our cash budget has come in approximately $17,000 over budget. Jehovah Jireh….our provider!!
  • In late December, we were able to install a major solar panel project at ICA Pyeongtaek—19 kilos of double-sided solar panels, fully installed and completely paid for. Halleluiah to the Lamb!
  • One-third of the $17,000 project cost was generously donated by Lou and Maria Rosa (pictured above), faithful stewards who lovingly watched over ICA Pyeongtaek during our absence.

Wise Stewardship for the Future

These solar panels will significantly reduce our monthly electrical costs, allowing significant funds to be directed straight back into ministry. This is wise stewardship of your donations to this ministry, and we are deeply grateful for how God orchestrated every detail.

Not only did Lou and Maria contribute significantly to this project, but they refused to accept any financial compensation while faithfully overseeing and stewarding the ministry.

Lou and Maria—thank you for your integrity, sacrifice, and faithful service to the Lord.

As an added surprise, we returned to Korea to find four brand-new tires on our ministry van—already paid for. Thank you Lou & Maria! We see the hand of God through you.

In the upper right corner is our newest project: a storage shed.

It was hard saying goodbye to Cheyenne—it felt much like saying goodbye to family, and especially to the grandchildren (Nephew in the middle). Those moments are never easy. The great encouragement, however, is that Cheyenne has already made contact with my daughter, who—by proxy—is beginning to pick up parts of the mission. Since she lives in Colorado Springs, where many people relocate following their PCS, it’s been a natural and timely connection. We are grateful to see how God continues the work, even as seasons and locations change.

Looking Ahead with Faith

The future is bright. The horizon is clear. God is building His Church in His timing.

As we close this update and prepare for the next, we ask you to continue standing with us in prayer—specifically for spiritual and atmospheric breakthrough over Camp Humphreys and the greater Pyeongtaek region. This is no small request, but we serve a Mighty God, and we believe the evidence that He is already at work.

The pictures included in this newsletter tell the greater part of the story. God is moving. Lives are being touched. His Kingdom is advancing.

Thank You

Thank you to every individual, family, and church who faithfully supports this ministry—through prayer, encouragement, and financial partnership. We truly could not do this without you.
